Child Safety Standards
Last updated: 4 November 2026
Yaarly has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion and any sexual content involving a person under 18.
Yaarly is for adults only
- Only people aged 18 or older may use Yaarly. Every user must confirm they are 18+ before using random chat.
- An account that appears to be used by a person under 18 is frozen. It can only be unlocked after an adult ID has been checked.
What is not allowed
- Sharing, requesting or producing any sexual content involving a minor.
- Contacting, grooming or attempting to meet a minor for sexual purposes.
- Threatening or pressuring anyone to share sexual images (sextortion).
How we prevent and detect it
- Stranger video calls are checked on the device by an automatic nudity detector; detected sexual content ends the call and bans the account.
- Users can block anyone and report them in the app with the ⚑ button, including the reason “Looks under 18”.
- Reports are reviewed by the Yaarly team, and banned accounts are tied to their email and phone so they cannot simply return.
How we act
- Accounts involved in CSAE are banned permanently.
- We report child sexual abuse material and exploitation to the relevant authorities, in India through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in), and preserve the information the law requires for investigators.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests made under applicable law.
How to report
In the app: tap ⚑ during or after a chat and choose a reason. By email: write to megle@megaleapp.com with “Child safety” in the subject. If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police (112 in India) first.
Child safety contact
